How to choose the right Amazon Music Unlimited subscriptions

Music lovers rejoice! I believe that we all should rejoice because Amazon has just introduced Amazon Music Unlimited. It is Amazon’s on-demand music streaming service that contains tens of millions of songs with new releases from today’s most popular artists, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.

If you are an U.S. Prime member and you already stream more than two million songs with Prime Music, then you are also in luck because with the launch of Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime members who want even more music, will have access to tens of millions of songs at a breakthrough Prime member price of $7.99/month or $79/year.

 

How to choose the right Amazon Music Unlimited subscriptions

Of course, being a Prime member is not a mandatory to subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited because there are 3 Amazon Music Unlimited’s subscriptions available that you can choose from depending on your need:

 

1. Individual Plan (Standard Plan)

1.1. Individual Plan for Prime Member

  • Price: $7.99/month or $79.00/year, which equals $6.58/month(*).
  • Access: Tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.
  • Device: Using one account on all of your devices, including iOS, Android, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Web Player, Desktop App (PC and Mac), Amazon Echo and Home Entertainment devices.

 

1.2. Individual Plan for Non-Prime Member

  • Price: $9.99/month(*).
  • Access: Tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.
  • Device: Using one account on all of your devices, including iOS, Android, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Web Player, Desktop App (PC and Mac), Amazon Echo and Home Entertainment devices.

2. Echo Plan

  • Price: $3.99/month(*).
  • Access: Tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.
  • Device: Using one account on a single Amazon Echo, Amazon Dot or Amazon Tap, which are sold separately.

 

If you decide later that you want to enjoy Amazon Music Unlimited on all of your devices, including iOS, Android, Web, PC, Mac and more, you can upgrade to a standard plan for an additional $4.00/month for Prime members or $6.00/month non-Prime members.

 

3. Family Plan

3.1. Family Plan for Prime Member

  • Price: $14.99/month or $149.00/year, which equals $12.42/month(*) up to six family members.
  • Access: Tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.
  • Device: Each family member can access on their devices, including iOS, Android, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Web Player, Desktop App (PC and Mac), Amazon Echo and Home Entertainment devices.

 

3.2. Family Plan for Non-Prime Member

  • Price: $14.99/month(*) up to six family members.
  • Access: Tens of millions of songs, thousands of hand-curated playlists, and personalized stations.
  • Device: Each family member can access on their devices, including iOS, Android, Fire Tablets, Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, Web Player, Desktop App (PC and Mac), Amazon Echo and Home Entertainment devices.

 

Please note that applicable taxes (after your trial) will be added to all of the above prices (*). Your subscription renews automatically. You can cancel your automatic renewal anytime by visiting Your Amazon Music Settings.

 

As of today Amazon Music Unlimited is only available for customers in the U.S. (Amazon.com). However, it will also be available for customers in the U.K. (Amazon UK), Germany and Austria (Amazon DE) this year.
