Thanks to the internet you don’t have to stick to your own couch to watch TV programs at home. Why should you? When you can watch them mobile on your laptops, tablets or smartphones. Additionally, you don’t have to stick to your own country’s TV programs because you can watch more TV programs from other countries, such as the USA, Australia and the UK.

Most of American, Australia and British TV programs are available for online streaming and are absolutely free to watch. However, they’re also restricted to residents of the US, Australia and the UK only. It means, if you live anywhere else in the world, if you’re an expat or if you’re traveling, then you are sadly out of luck. Unless, you’ve found a way around it.

Some of you have probably found some free ways around it to be able to watch these restricted TV programs. Unfortunately, there are also some downsides to having these free ways. Obviously, because they are offered for free, they are generally less reliable, lack of other great features and/or lack of support.

So, what to do? The answer is very simple: Invest a bit to get more and follow my instruction on how to watch American, Australia and British TV programs from anywhere in the world using Hotspot Shield Elite VPN:

1. Read and learn how Hotspot Shield Elite actually works and set up your own Hotspot Shield Elite account.

2. Sign in to your account and download the Hotspot Shield Elite’s software onto your devices both Windows and Mac. It is great to know that your Elite subscription is also available on iOS at no extra charge (see image below).

3. Open and install the Hotspot Shield Elite (HSS Elite) software on your devices. Optionally, you can configure your HSS Elite by taping the Preferences tab (see below image).

4. Select your preferred virtual location using the drop-down menu (see image below). Select USA when you want to watch American TV programs from FOX, ABC, The CW, Hulu and more. Select Australia for Australian TV programs from SMH, ABC AU and more. And select United Kingdom for British TV programs from BBC iPlayer, iTV Player, TVCatchup and more.

Note: Any (see image above) means that the HSS Elite chooses a virtual location for you automatically (mostly US virtual locations).

5. Visit your preferred American, Australian and British TV networks, enjoy your favorite TV programs and read other great features of Hotspot Shield Elite.
