[Updated: February 6, 2015] One of so many benefits of Amazon Prime membership is that you are automatically eligible for Kindle First. It means that you can choose one of the four Kindle books selected by Amazon Publishing editors absolutely for free each month.

Here comes the good news for you as a member regarding January and February Picks. You can choose up to two featured books for free from Kindle First. Are you not a member yet? Then you can buy up to two featured books for $1.99 each.

To celebrate Amazon Prime’s 10th birthday Amazon is extending the Kindle First bonus offer. Prime members can download two free early release Kindle First books and non-Prime members can download up to two for $1.99 each through February 28, 2015.

These are the four featured Kindle books that you can choose from (see also 2nd image above):

1. Everything Burns (Thriller) by Vincent Zandri
2. Flirting with Felicity (Contemporary Romance) by Gerri Russell

How to buy and download two of four FREE Kindle books on your Kindle

As a member of Amazon Prime, you can choose and download two of four Kindle books for free from Kindle First on your Kindle device, as follows:

Please note that I am using my Kindle Paperwhite (2nd generation) to download two of four Kindle books.

1. Tap the Cart icon to go to the Kindle First page on your Kindle (see 1st image above).

2. Choose up to two of four Kindle books on the Kindle First page on your Kindle (see 2nd image above).

Please note that I am choosing Everything Burns (Thriller) by Vincent Zandri and Miramont’s Ghost (Historical Fiction) by Elizabeth Hall as my first and second books, respectively.

3. Tap on “Everything Burns” or other title to read the book details (see 3rd image above).

4. Tap the Buy Now for $0.00 button to buy and download it for free (see 3rd image above).

5. You’ll get “Thank you for your purchase” notification, tap the Close button to continue. Optionally, you can also tap the “Cancel this Order” link to cancel your purchase (see 4th image above).

6. Tap the < (arrow) icon to go back to the Kindle First page and choose your second Kindle book.

7. Tap “Miramont’s Ghost” or other title to read the book details (see 5th image above).

8. Repeat step 4 and step 5 to finalize your free purchases of this month’s Kindle First (see also 6th image above).

You can now enjoy your two featured Kindle books on your Kindle Paperwhite, any Kindle device or other devices with FREE Kindle reading app.
