It is commonly known that those who enjoy traveling are subject to so called post-vacation blues. I have fortunately been too busy catching up on everything to feel the blues. However, I suddenly felt some of the blues last night. And the worst part was that I didn’t even know why.
Maybe it was indeed my post-vacation blues. Maybe, I just had a bad night. I don’t know. What I know is that mesmerizing my last vacation, interrailing across Europe, helps me back on track and focus on my daily routines.
Thessaloniki also known as Salonica, City of Ghosts is definitely the most vibrant city that I have ever been to during my interrailing. I remember walking through the city and admiring the beautiful ancient ruins, hotels, restaurants, cafes and of course the boulevard near The White Tower of Thessaloniki.
Have I told you that Thessaloniki is the best place to watch the sunset and sunrise? It is. It really is. Below are some photos I took during sunset on my last day in Thessaloniki.
