It has been a very long, challenging few weeks and I have been so looking forward to this upcoming weekend for days. I have just updated my to-do list to two things: to calm down and be completely relax.
Usually I’ll let myself be lost in some great adventure books on my Kindle to relax. This weekend, however, I would really love to just sit back and be lost in some interesting series and movies on Prime.
So, if you have also had a very long, challenging few weeks and you are in great need to relaxing. The followings are some of Amazon Prime’s series and movies to calm down and be completely relax with. Join me?
1. Sons of Anarchy
Sons of Anarchy is a drama series about the lives of a close-knit outlaw motorcycle club operating in Charming, which is a fictional town in California’s Central Valley. The show mainly focuses on protagonist Jackson “Jax” Teller, initially the vice president of the club, who begins questioning the club and himself.
2. Rescue Down
Rescue Down is a war drama film about an american pilot who is shot down and taken prisoner during the Vietnam war. His iron will to survive guides him and fellow prisoners in a death-deifying escape, only to discover the harsh realities of an unforgiving outside the POW camp.
3. Transparent
Transparent is a comedy-drama series about a Los Angeles family and their lives following the discovery that father Mort is transgender.
When the Pfefferman family patriarch makes dramatic admission, the entire family family’s secrets start to spill out and each if them spin in an different direction as they begin to figure out who they are going to become.
4. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Jennifer Lawrence returns in this thrilling sequel to The Hunger Games. Catching Fire tells the story about Katniss and Peeta who embark on a victory tour while President Snow plots a deadly new Hunger Games that could change Panem forever.
5. Alpha House
Alpha House is a political satire series that is inspired by real-life Congressmen who share a home in D.C.: Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL), Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Representative George Miller (D-CA).
It is featuring John Goodman and focuses on re-election battles, looming indictments, parties, their party and these senators need a drink. And a new housemate. New episodes exclusively for Amazon Prime members.
